Authentic Korčula is the consumer brand of Arko Travel, a licensed Croatian travel agency founded by Sunčana and Žarko Žaknić on Korčula Island in 2016. The agency name is the one that appears on contracts, invoices, and TripAdvisor reviews. Authentic Korčula is the name we use to talk to guests.
We design tailor-made programs, day tours, excursions, transfers, cruises, and accommodation, with additional experience in MICE and business travel. Everything you book on this site is delivered personally by the four of us.
With a personal approach to clients and a professional business philosophy, we provide maximum satisfaction to the users of our services. We want prove that service can be different, better and more reliable with product quality and a personal approach to customers.
To be a support to business partners and a reliable customer service provider. At the same time, we are environmentally aware and we try to promote environmental protection and forms of tourism which promote healthy living, nature conservation and animal protection.
We are both licensed local tourist guides for Croatian and English and we have licenses for travel office manager and besides that Žarko is a port agent, fleet manager, professional driver, ship master and chief engineer officer.
In 2025, our sons Marko and Darko joined full-time. Everything you book on this site is delivered personally by the four of us. As we always tell our guests: Your vacation is the only time of the year when others should take care about you, indulge yourself to us and enjoy in your vacation.
